II. General Syllabus

Schedule

The content of this course is to invite scholars to give lectures on topics related to mathematics. The purpose of this course is to require all graduate students to actively participate in the discussion of the latest developments in various branches of mathematics in order to cultivate their knowledge depth and breadth.

Methods Percentage Notes
Class discussion involvement 10 % Each pertinent question earns 2% points, at most 5 per student over the semester. Each half page report earns 2% points, at most 3 per semester.
Attendances 90 % There will be 15 sessions, each worth 6% of the grade. Attendance without use of unapproved electronics earns the full 6%. Use of unapproved electronics deducts 2% per use, up to 6% per session.
