THIS IS AN IN PERSON+ONLINE EMI INTERNATIONAL COURSEALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK WITH INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FOR THREE GROUP PROJECTS AND PRESENT IN ENGLISH.Natural Resources are materials available on planet that can be used to keep people alive and meet their needs. Any natural substance that humans use: including raw materials : oil, coal, natural gas, metals, stone, sand, air, sunlight, soil, water, animals, and vegetation. We will be focusing on water resources for this course It is an co-joint EMI course between NTNU and Kwnsei Gakuin University. Students are required to work with students from Kwnsei Gakuin University for three group tasks with group dicussion and group reports. The learning objectives are: •Water Resources Management is about solving problems •To secure water for life: –based on a sound scientific understanding –Apply systematic thinking –includes protection from excess water and from water shortage, as well as providing sufficient water for a sustainable environment. •Efficient and sustainable management •By the end of this class you will: –be aware of water resources issues at local region –be able to qualitatively and quantitatively describe the main processes in the hydrologic cycle –be able to provide solutions for typical water resources problems found in practice.
