1. To experience mathematics teach-ing and learning situations in con-texts of regular/bilingual/IBDP secondary schools College:
 1-1 Equipped with professional mathematics competences
 1-3 Being able to think mathematically and critically
 2-1 Being able to communicate and express mathematically
 2-2 Possessing the competences of transferring and contextualizing theories in mathematics and mathematics education

II. General Syllabus

Schedule

(2 weeks) Teaching mathematics for understanding through inquiry-based and student-centered teaching approaches

(1 week) Field-observations in the practicum school

(3 weeks) Developing lesson plans for the teaching practicum & Micro-teaching for the teaching practicum

(6 weeks) Teaching practicum

(6 weeks) Presenting, discussing, evaluating, and reflecting on the teaching practicum

Group discussion Students will explain and discuss their ideas and teaching plans, they also have to present, discuss, evaluate, and reflect on their own and their peers’ teaching practicum
Cooperative learning Students have to cooperate with their peers to prepare their micro teaching and teaching practicum
Lab/Studio Students will have their teaching practicum in secondary schools
Field work Students will have field-observations in the practicum school and writing reports
