Instructor(s) | EU, Sen-Peng/ 游森棚 | ||
Schedule | |||
(1) We will introduce missalaneous topics in enumerative and algebraic combinatorics. Include 1. basic counting (12 ways of counting and its combinatorial models) 2. important sequences and their combinatorial/algebraic aspects 3. various structures (e.g. parking functions, plane partitions, graphs, etc) (2) Each week we will introduce a topic, with 2-3 do-able exercises and some potential small projects (if there is). The goal of this course is to have a rough picture of enumerative combinatorics, appreciate these topics, and come up with an independent projects of your own. |
